Kitces is interesting to listen to. Financial planning is evolving from just managing portfolios and selling insurance to more about life planning. Finding out what point B is and getting there.

Entertaining and informative podcast as always. One thing that irked me was Greg’s take (during the roundtable) on P2P lending investments. He made it sound as if that type of investment is no better than burning money or flushing it down the toilet or throwing it out the window of a moving car. Greg is a funny and well-informed guy – but I think that perhaps he should do his homework a little more on P2P investing. I’m getting great returns with mine (overall), despite having several of my notes default. Defaulted notes are built in to the expected return rate… I don’t think it’s crazy at all that Barb has 3.2% of her portfolio in P2P lending.
