Ah, Monday! The promise of a new week, a fresh set of goals, and….

…ah, hell, admit it: Monday sucks except for the fact that we’re bringing you a new episode of the Stacking Benjamins podcast.

Do you know how everyone’s looking for the next big national guru they can learn from? I’m bringing a novel idea: why not look in your own backyard. There are plenty of great mentors in your town who can help you power up your career…AND if you network in your community, you’ll find that you’re now a part of something bigger than you. It’s exciting.

So, this week we bring you Ruth Ellen Whitt, the executive director of Leadership Texarkana (my backyard). She may be the best networker I’ve ever met. Her goal: get influential people in the community into a room and get them talking. She’ll share some straightforward, refreshing advice that’ll kick start your networking.
