It’s hard to remember that the holidays aren’t about spending money and buying gifts. If you’re a hater of this time of year, here’s a nice collage of misery.
I love the holidays, but it’s easy to get caught up in the fact that you’re “supposed” to feel good this time of year. Well…there are lots of people who feel strongly about the holidays, and not in a nice way.
So, for all of you out there who love to hate on this time of year, this is for you.
Enjoy, all of you Bah humbuggers.

At my last 9-5 job, we had a ton of holiday events throughout December – a grief seminar, a service of remembrance, a holiday senior’s trip, a Christmas party or two, etc. Anyway, it was stressful and we spent the entire month running around. This year has been great because we haven’t done anything! Greg’s new job only has one holiday event and it’s apparently optional.

hee! I recognize a lot of those movies. I thought Scrooged was a cute one. Of course I love this!

I don’t loathe the holidays, I’m just not into it/kinda over it. I don’t buy in to the consumer thing, literally. It’s a lot of hype. Family time is nice, but I feel like most people make it about something else entirely.

I don’t loathe the Holidays, but am not too far off. I know, call me Scrooge but I come by it honestly. I’ve actually got a Christmas rant post coming up on Monday, lol. 😉 Like Tonya though I recognize a TON of those movies!

I dont like the retail sensationalism of this time of year, and often have to remind myself the reason for the season. I am looking forward to the new year, and the feel of optimism that you sense, as you get a fresh start on things.

My favorite time of year Joe, although my sciatic back pain is not making it a merry Christmas.
